Wyatt Earp Strategy

But the beast was captured, with it the false prophet who had performed the signs on its behalf. With these signs he had deluded those who had received the beast's mark and worshiped its image. The two of them were thrown alive into the fiery lake of burning sulfur. Revelation 19:20 NIV.

The battle of Armageddon shows how easily people get deceived. The antichrist and his leaders fought with those who accepted the antichrist's mark. They believe they can take out God. That their struggle will be won and God will be defeated. They get fooled by satan.

Whenever a gang entered the western town, it was not good for them. Wyatt Earp came up with an excellent strategy. He stood against twenty men and commanded them to surrender their firearms. They, of course, figured that it was a futile request. Then Earp pointed his weapon at the leader. The loudest of the group. He informed them that they could take him in case of a fight. Before that, he will take the leader and a few. The leader always backed down because they looked at the barrel of their end.

Jesus used the same strategy in the last battle. He took the two leaders and cast them out of the battle. The first two people occupy Hades. Our enemy's fate is sealed. Jesus's glorious appearance will destroy the rest of his army at Megiddo.

The enemy will remind us about our past and bring condemnation. When anyone comes against us, remember they are led by Satan. It all goes back to his strategies. Upon doing so, we can gaze directly at them and inform them of our defeat. The enemy's strategies will fail. The battles belong to Jesus.

Teach us to remember that the battles belong to You, Lord. Get us to stand confident as we face anything the enemy throws at us. In Jesus’ name, amen.
