As far as the East is from the West, so far has he removed our transgressions from us. Psalm 103:12 NIV.
I got told in the past I share everything. Then saw people get hurt. I made poor decisions, especially in relationships. Now I pray a lot about this.
I became a more private person because of wisdom from other mentors. I share based on prayer. This became a process for me. I was bad at establishing boundaries.
God’s Mess has situations of triumph and failure. Mistakes get made in life. There are messy people in the Bible. We learn how the Lord moved through them. I hope the devotional will make us less of a mess through surrender.
I believe it is time to tell everyone I am married. The Lord brought someone into my life who brings me joy. She loves Jesus as much as I do. This is vital, especially in rough times.
I lost everything from 2017 to 2018. That brought me to trust Jesus again. His providence took me from Pennsylvania to Louisiana. From several robberies to Marshall Texas. Then to my wife. I believe this was sovereignty. I moved here to work with my friend. He met Cynthia and said I would be stupid not to keep her. It was the last piece of advice he gave me before he died.
I attempt to be more protective and private. But I learned my past is what it is. The past. The verse above speaks volumes about that. We forget former things. Then grow when we move into the future.
I feel grateful for where Jesus brought me. I continue to grow and make mistakes. There are big decisions ahead of me about which direction to take next. The Lord guides the way. I thank my family and friends for their compassion.
May the Lord guide us. Then lead us into sovereign moments. A loss could lead to something better. May the Lord bless all of us.
Be over our steps with You, Lord. Help us walk into what You desire. Then lead us to decide based on Your timing. In Jesus’ name, amen.
