We all have dreams. I remember a young me daydreaming in school about my future. I even got caught dream walking toward what I believed would be future successes.
Last night I went to the Kari Jobe concert. It got sponsored by World Vision. The pastor gave a moving testimony of how the children he met aspired for their future. Hopefully, we all walk on paths to our dreams coming true.
Today I drove a young congregant to register for college. They expressed ambition about upcoming events in their lives. Then shared excitement about their hopes—the goals they established and what they desired to achieve. I gave advice to them as we traveled.
I got saved at 28 years old, and before that, had many dreams that failed—then yielded them to the Lord, who took me on the adventure of a lifetime. He fulfilled aspirations in life I never knew I wanted until meeting Him.
I taught thousands. Visited several countries. I saw and experienced miraculous moments. I never read a book to completion then wrote one through His leading. The Lord fulfills our hopes and dreams. The goals we never realized we wanted.
We need to surrender our hopes and dreams to Jesus. When we renounce our plans, He can move us forward into His. He can lead us to success in our lives. It is great when he leads us, dream walkers. Let’s delight in seeing people’s dreams come true.
Thank You for allowing us to dream, Lord. Establish Your plans for us as we surrender to You. Have all our dreams come true in You. In Jesus. Name, amen.
