Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear it and take to heart what is written in it, because the time is near. Revelation 1:3 NIV.
I taught through Revelation several times. Then started Genesis when we got done. They are the bookends of faith.
Believers forget there is a war. People get lost in battle. We won the war. satan now battles to take what Jesus loves most—the souls of people. The Bible has two words for evil. Kakos, which means making everyone miserable. Then Poneros, where we get pornography. To drag everyone to destruction. That is satan’s title, the evil one.
There are satanist attacks every time I post on social media. They claim he wants what's best for them. They got deceived. The devil doesn't care about them. They will join him in eternal flames. We must pray their hearts to change.
Genesis and Revelation controversially stand out. The National Enquirer always used them to sell papers. They attacked both. The reason is the enemy got judged in Genesis; and Revelation, it gets carried out. Scholars call them the bookends of the faith.
Revelation is the only book that gives us a blessing for teaching and learning it. Genesis shows the beginnings and foundations of faith. Both are powerful books. Genesis helped me through the first couple of years of my faith.
I pray we all read His Word daily. Thank you all for reading the devotional, and I pray we all heal through His holiness.
Help us understand the power of what You did for us, Lord. Help satanists that get fooled by the devil to escape that trap. Thank You for Your powerful Word from Genesis to Revelation. In Jesus’ name, amen.
